What to expect from this space.
Hello all! Some of you may know me from my main Bear Blog, pretendtypewriter.net. As a fan of this platform, I'm happy to introduce my second blog, A work in progress (name subject to change), home to all things relevant to the project, which you can read about here.
What to expect:
- In-depth analyses on old family photos
- Theories on my family history
- Documentary reviews (for inspiration)
- Plans on how I will conduct my research
- The meaning behind certain elements across the website
- And more!
This is all really personal stuff, so a part of me wonders if it's ok to share it all on the internet? However, since I eventually do want to publish my findings in some form, I figured why not let you all in behind-the-scenes.
I'm not a professional researcher, just some person who is bored and curious enough to open their Pandora's Box. And maybe, putting myself out there will elicit tips from readers or others who are doing something similar.
Feel free to follow along, though I may change the name of the site. If I do, I will of course make an announcement.
